The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) of the Alaska Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (AK-AFS) provides monetary awards to support meeting-related travel for persons belonging to underrepresented groups in fisheries and related disciplines (e.g., in terms of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, physical and/or mental abilities). Successful applicants will also receive a one-year membership to AK-AFS. Partial awards may be given, depending on available funding.
