Please join us in planning and celebrating the annual meeting of the Alaska Chapter of American Fisheries Society, March 19-23 at the Westmark Hotel in Fairbanks, Alaska. The chosen theme of this 43rd meeting of our membership is:

Waters:  Success, limitation and innovation in the face of data scarcity and uncertainty. 

The meeting will be a joint effort with the American Water Resources Association similar to the 2014 Juneau meeting.  The venue and specific dates of the meeting are still to be determined.  If you have any questions please contact Aaron Martin (aaron_e_martin@fws.gov).

Also, the Chapter will be hosting the 2018 Western Division meeting.  Preliminary plans are being developed in coordination with Western Division staff, but we are planning on the meeting occurring in Anchorage in the latter half of May.  Stay tuned for more details.  Please contact Jeff Falke if you have any questions (jeffrey.falke@alaska.gov).
