We are excited to announce the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Alaska Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (AFS), scheduled to take place March 29-April 2, 2027, in Anchorage.
This annual meeting is an awesome opportunity to connect with fellow professionals and community members, share knowledge, and discuss the latest advancements and developments in Alaska’s fisheries. In keeping with tradition, the Southcentral meeting with a focus on both freshwater and marine systems, with a meeting theme to be determined by the planning committee.
A Call for Symposia and Abstracts will be announced in the early fall, and we encourage you to begin considering any ideas or contributions you may wish to share. Your participation is key to making this meeting a success, and we look forward to your input.
